Tuscan Herb Olive Oil Burger

1 lb ground beef (85% lean is best)

2 tbsp tuscan herb olive oil(or any fused olive oil you prefer)

1 tsp sea salt

1/2 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp garlic powder

Place the beef, 1 tbsp of olive oil, sea salt, black pepper and garlic powder in a large mixing bowl and work together with your fingers. Do not overwork.

Shape into 1/2 inch patties (about 1/4 pound each) and place a thumbprint in the center of each

Preheat grill to medium or medium high heat and then cook for 4-5 minutes. Flipping half way through. 

Remove burgers from heat and allow to rest 

While burgers are resting, brush the remaining olive oil on buns and place flat side down on grill for a minute to warm

Dress your burgers with veggies, cheese and other accoutrements

Makes 4 burgers
