Broaden your understandings and pleasure your senses in this new addition to the Con’ Olio class repertoire! In this wine tasting class, you will explore the ins and outs of the world of wine; from the simplest histories and processes, to the most advanced industry techniques that will surely impress your dinner guests.
During the duration of the class, you will be given these and much more; served by our loyal and dedicated staff.
-Appetizers: Artisan bread and oils, Marcona almonds, imported olives, and ice water.
-Dinner: Cranberry pecan salad w/pomegranate lime dressing, and artichoke garlic pasta w/grana padano cheese.
-Dessert: An assortment of caramels alongside a guided tasting.
Your wine educator, and flavorful commentator for the night, will be our very own Michael Stapleton! Young wine enthusiast, award winning wine salesman, and Steward for Con’ Olio Oils and Vinegars. Michael trained under various wine industry professionals from an early age, and is now dedicated to spreading the wonder of sensory experience to those who are willing to pick up a glass. He is currently pursuing Sommelier certification, and degrees in Viticulture and Oenology.
During the duration of the class, your host will be serving you sampling’s of four bottles of wine
in order to add context to class, and lend general enjoyment:
-Robert Sinskey, Vin Gris of Pinot Noir. Rosé.
-SP68 Bianco, Albanelio/Zibibo, Italian White.
-Bonpas, Côte-du-Rhône GSM, French Red.
-Raventós i Blanc, Penedes Cava Rosé, Spanish Sparkling.
