Want to prepare plant-based meals at home? Look no further! Con’ Olio presents its first plant-based Mediterranean Cooking Class Series. Chef Rachel Zierzow, natural foods chef and holistic health coach, will introduce you to gluten and dairy free dishes from the coast of Sicily to the islands of Greece. Soup or salad? You don’t have to choose. Simply take a quick trip to the Arboretum. Learn how to prepare plant-based options such as Tuscan white bean soup or Provençal vegetable soup paired with the finest salads and dressings. Join us for evening classes and learn how to make wild mushroom risotto with Sicilian salad. How about a vegan sushi party? Complete with rainbow rolls and creamy wasabi sauce. The world is waiting and it’s delicious! Come explore it with Con’ Olio.

Classes are plant-based, gluten-free, dairy-free
Creamy mushroom soup with wild rice and fresh herbs
Raw and charred zucchini salad with baby tomatoes, fresh mint, and lemon
Milanese gremolata and lemon vinaigrette
Sparkling Balsamic Vinaiagrette
Spanish Marcona Almonds and Olives will also be served. Water will be served but wine will be available for an additional fee. All sales of classes are final and are non refundable and cannot be used for future dates. No physical tickets will be mailed, instead a receipt will be emailed after you purchase your ticket, please bring this with you to the class.
